Over the past few weeks, Borderlands 3 developer Gearbox has been drip-feeding fans new details about the upcoming loot-shooter. For the starters, we got to see a brand new location, Promethea, as well as two new Vault Hunters in the shape of Zane Flynt and Moze the Gunner.

Apart from this, the studio has promised that the game will be much larger than its predecessor, and for the players tuck into packs in a ‘ton of content’.

The Borderlands 3 is set to release on PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One on 13 September. Fans have been waiting for some time for the sequel, as Borderland 2 originally dated back in 2012, though Take-Two extended its lifecycle by portraying the game in PS Vita, PS4, and Xbox One, as well as giving the game a VR overhaul.

Borderlands franchise launched back in the year of 2009 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and has now shipped more than 48 million units across the world. Recently, for the current-generation consoles, the original game was remade, so if you have not played it yet, then be sure to check it out.
